OVERVIEW
This 2-minute video will showcase the ultimate adventure of rafting the Grand Canyon with a group of 16 friends over 9 days. This video will showcase the thrill of rafting the Grand Canyon: highlighting the camaraderie, adventure, and relaxation that comes with a river trip. Rafting trips and beer-drinking culture go hand-in-hand, and Pabst Blue Ribbon is the perfect brand to bring the two together.
ONCE IN A LIFETIME
The permit to raft the Grand Canyon is notoriously difficult to obtain, making this a once-in-a-lifetime experience that very few people have had the opportunity to participate in. By partnering with us, Pabst Blue Ribbon will have the unique opportunity to showcase its products in an exclusive and highly coveted adventure.
Product Placement
The packing list started with "3 BPD," translating to 3 beers per day. Second on the list was a dry bag. On a rafting trip, beer is considered essential.
Pabst Blue Ribbon will be subtly featured throughout the project, with natural product placement showcasing how the beer is a perfect complement to a day on the river, whether it's enjoyed on the boat, during a camp setup, or around the fire at night. The result will be an authentic and unobtrusive representation of how PBRs and rafting culture come together to create unforgettable experiences.
Style and Approach
This project will be shot entirely on 8mm. Shooting film stands out in a digital world and creates a nostalgic, authentic vibe.
We want the video to feel genuine and not overly branded, allowing the natural product placement and enjoyment of PBR to be seamlessly integrated into the adventure. We want the feel to be adventurous, inviting, and most of all, fun.

DIRECTOR + Cinematographer
Jordyn is an award-winning filmmaker challenging and changing the norm to make films that matter.
Hailing from the rugged Rocky Mountains of Santa Fe, NM, Jordyn grew up spending most of her days in the mountains. Frustrated that her favorite ski films were lacking females, she decided to make her own, and moved to Southern California to chase the filmmaking dream.
Her efforts have paid off, with her film We Are Like Waves being distributed by The Los Angeles Times, earning her recognition as an Oscar Qualifying director, and winning awards at several festivals.
She has directed, produced, and filmed for companies including The North Face, Specialized Bicycles, Billabong, Sierra Nevada, and Guayaki.
